Interior Design Program

The AUCY program of Interior Design provides a multidisciplinary approach of a wide spectrum of design strategies – from traditional methods, such as sketching, to advanced computer-assisted methodologies – aiming at holistic and contemporary notions of inhabitable space. At the same time, our students receive the foundations of a humanistic and universal education, which nurtures their identity and empowers ethics and purpose for tomorrow’s profession.

Understand the basic elements of visual perception and design processes used to communicate ideas through different mediums.

Demonstrate understanding of a methodology of tasks, including finding, evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing appropriate sources

Develop a visual diary where they will formulate the main project question find and manage scientific literature, avoiding plagiarism, and start drafting their proposals

Excel in teamwork through group work in studios and workshops and develop creative skills in expressing and communicating their design projects both to specialized and non-specialized audiences.
