Message from the Dean

As the founding Dean, I am delighted to welcome our students, faculty and staff to our School of Business Administration and Economics, within the newly established American University of Cyprus.

Guided by our commitment to put student interests first and safety of our community, we have worked thoughtfully to tailor both the curricular as well as co-curricular programming for our campus and the community at large. We are a tight-knit community of thinkers and doers who see the current business environment not as a challenge to be managed but as an opportunity for exploration and transformation. Our highly qualified faculty will provide our students with the very best intellectual capital in business schools today, representing the full spectrum of knowledge, from launching an entrepreneurial venture to running a global business.

Their commitment to the teacher-scholar model means that our students will be learning about the latest thought-leadership in fundamental and contemporary business issues directly from those generating that knowledge. Complemented by our highly qualified and dedicated staff, our Business school will provide our students unparalleled opportunities to fully develop their business acumen and succeed in an increasingly turbulent and competitive business environment.

I share our School and the AUCY spirit and commitment to keep learning, adapting and innovating to continue providing the best experience possible to our students, faculty, staff and the community at large. We will strive to contribute to the economies and communities of our cities, our districts, our country, and the world with important ideas that change business practices and change lives.

If you are a student, staff member, partner, or faculty member in our organization, we welcome you to our School and our University. We are committed to your success.
