Master of Landscape Architecture

The Master in Landscape Architecture lasts 18 months and has 120 ECTS. The aim of the Master of Landscape Architecture is to provide education, research and training in Landscape Architecture in both urban and rural contexts, as well as a strong emphasis on sustainability and ecology. and quality in design are strongly promoted. It also leads to formal qualifications for professionals who want to practice in the field of Landscape Architecture.

Objective of the Program
The Master of Landscape Architecture, which is unique in Cyprus, addresses graduates of architecture, landscape architecture, design, environmental science and other related disciplines (e.g. fine art, city planning, forestry, agriculture, biology) who wish to train as professional Landscape Architects.

It deals with the study and design of natural and manmade landscape and aspires to fill an educational gap in this scientific area since today there is an intensified pressure of contemporary living to create useful and inspiring physical landscape spaces which hold a strong inter-relationship between local, regional and global interventions in the environment.
