Graphic Design Program - Faculty of Arts and Humanities - Department of Design

The Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the ever-evolving field of graphic design at both national and international levels. Through continuously updated curricula, the program adapts to emerging career opportunities, advanced academic pursuits, and relevant professional certifications. Students will develop strong visual communication skills and a flexible, creative approach to solving complex design challenges. Additionally, they will gain a deep understanding of the socio-economic, cultural, political, and environmental contexts that shape the work of tomorrow’s graphic designers.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Acquire essential knowledge of visual perception and an introductory understanding of the Graphic Design profession.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the latest developments in Art and Design, as well as emerging communication technologies.
  • Develop an understanding of visual communication principles and methodologies, utilizing a Visual Diary to enhance organizational and planning skills.
  • Communicate effectively with professionals across various fields within the Visual Arts and Graphic Design disciplines.
  • Apply relevant problem-solving and decision-making processes to art and design challenges.
  • Exhibit strong visual, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams and within an international context.
