Admission Requirements:

Required Documents: In addition to the application form, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Application Form http://aucy.bitmate.org/.
  • Official High School Leaving Certificate - Officially issued school grades
  • A photocopy of the Identity Card or Passport
  • A recent passport-size photo
  • English Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS - Based Reading and Writing, IGCSE, SAT, Password Skills Plus, Pearson PTE, or EET (AUCY English Entrance Test - For European Students only)

To assist students in preparing for the AUCY entrance test, free sessions are offered to students before the English entrance test exam.  

 

Transfer Students

Applicants seeking transfer to the American University of Cyprus (AUCY) must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of at least 24 credits at the Sophomore level and/or First Year level outside AUCY.
  • Attainment of a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0/4.0 beyond secondary school education.
  • Acceptance by AUCY's Admissions Office to enroll as a full-time student during the Fall or Spring semester.

Courses completed at other institutions recognized by the Cypriot Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with grades of "C" or higher, and which align with courses offered at AUCY, are eligible for transfer credit.

All submitted documents become the property of AUCY, regardless of acceptance or rejection. To streamline the application process, please provide the Office of Admissions with the necessary details to assist you effectively.
