The AUCY Research Center (AUCY RC) serve as the University’s cross faculty hub for research, supporting the Faculties of Business Administration and Economics, Science and Technology, and Arts and Humanities.

Purpose:

  • Academic and Teaching Support: Address the teaching and research needs of the Faculties of Business Administration & Economics, Science & Technology, and Arts & Humanities.
  • Research Excellence: Develop and deliver high-quality research-academic studies and scientific projects-across the Center’s disciplinary domains.
  • Student Capacity Building: Enhance student’s research capabilities and strengthen their methodological and professional skills.
  • Knowledge Diffusion: Improve the dissemination of research outputs and know-how to academia, industry, and society,
  • Scholarly Engagement: Organize expert lectures, national and international conferences, symposia, and seminars, featuring distinguished Cypriot and international scholars and researchers.
  • Collaborative Networks: Partner with local and international research centers and Universities to advance knowledge through innovative, interdisciplinary methods in Business Administration & Economics, Science & Technology, and Arts & Humanities.
  • Interdisciplinary Impact: Coordinate with existing research units to generate robust, multidisciplinary findings that deepen understanding of core disciplinary issues and their interactions with the economy and financial markets.
  • Societal and Industry Relevance: Collaborate with public- and private sector organizations to address national and international economic challenges-particularly crisis management and market turbulence-to support effective management and sustainable profitability.

AUCY RC is committed to producing and disseminating impactful research to a diverse, multinational community of students and early-career scholars, with particular emphasis on the Business, Economics, Finance, Science & Technology, and Arts & Humanities landscapes. The Center integrates students into the full research cycle-framing questions, applying appropriate methods, and communicating results-thereby cultivating innovative, evidence-based inquiry and delivering cutting-edge outputs across its disciplinary domains.
