Position Details:
- Job Title: English Language instructor
- Contract Type: Part-time
- Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus
Qualifications and Requirements:
- An MA degree in English Language
- A BA degree in English Language
- Proven record of prior teaching experience and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative English Language courses
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality, learner-centered instruction.
- Prepare and deliver lessons to help students develop their English Language skills.
- Evaluate students’ progress, monitor their progress, and provide feedback.
- Develop and manage a classroom environment that encourages language learning
- Utilize technology to enhance language instruction
- Provide advice and support to students
- Develop materials and resources to supplement instruction
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere.
