English Language instructor (Foundation Course for Learning English Language)

Contract Type: Part-Time
Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality, learner-centered instruction.
• Prepare and deliver lessons to help students develop their English Language skills.
• Evaluate students’ progress, monitor their progress, and provide feedback.
• Develop and manage a classroom environment that encourages language learning
• Utilize technology to enhance language instruction
• Provide advice and support to students
• Develop materials and resources to supplement instruction
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• An MA degree in English Language
• A BA degree in English Language
• Proven record of prior teaching experience and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative English Language courses
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
