Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate (and where applicable, graduate) courses in Interior Design within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
• Develop and update course syllabi, studio briefs, learning materials, and assessment methods
• Supervise student design projects, portfolios, and practical work
• Engage in scholarly research and/or professional practice and contribute to knowledge dissemination
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement
• Provide academic advising, mentoring, assessment, marking, and feedback to students

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or MA in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated expertise and professional or research experience in interior design
• Proven record of teaching excellence and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative courses at the undergraduate level
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
• Active engagement in research, creative practice, or professional projects related to interior design
• Familiarity with contemporary design tools, software, and industry practices will be considered an advantage
