Contract Type: Part-Time
Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
  • Develop and update course syllabi, learning materials, and assessments
  • Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable journals
  • Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement
  • Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students

Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field within Arts or Humanities
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field within Graphic Design
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field within Interior Design
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field within landscape Design
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field within Psychology
  • Demonstrated expertise and research accomplishments in a specialized area within the field
  • Proven record of teaching excellence and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
  • Active engagement in research, scholarly activities, and a commitment to contributing to the academic community
