Contract Type: Part-Time
Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
  • Design and update course syllabi, learning materials, and assessments tailored to Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture curriculum
  • Engage in scholarly research specific to Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture and disseminate findings through practice
  • Supervise and guide student projects, publishing, and career development in the context of Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture
  • Participate in departmental meetings within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement for Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture studies
  • Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students pursuing Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture specialization within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise and research accomplishments in a specialized area within Arts and Humanities, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture
  • Proven record of teaching excellence and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative courses at the undergraduate level
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
  • Active engagement in research, scholarly activities, and a commitment to contributing to the academic community
  • European Nationality is a must
