The American University of Cyprus is receiving applications for Part–time Faculty positions in Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management for the Fall Semester of 2024.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Part-time lecturer in Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management, Faculty of Business Administration and Economics
• Contract Type: Part-time
• Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management or a relevant field
• Demonstrated expertise and research accomplishments in a specialized area within Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management
• Proven record of teaching excellence and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative courses at the undergraduate level
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
• Active engagement in research, scholarly activities, and a commitment to contributing to the academic community
• European Nationality is a must

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management within the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics
• Design and update course syllabi, learning materials, and assessments tailored to the Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management curriculum
• Engage in scholarly research specific to Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management and disseminate findings through practice
• Supervise and guide student practical work, publishing, and career development in the context of Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management
• Participate in departmental meetings within the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement for Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management studies
• Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students pursuing Real Estate Management, City and Urban Planning, Construction Management specialization within the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics

Απαραίτητα προσόντα:

• Διδακτορικό δίπλωμα στη Διαχείριση Ακίνητης Περιουσίας, την Πολεοδομία, τον Πολεοδομικό Σχεδιασμό, τη Διαχείριση Κατασκευών ή σε συναφή πεδία.
• Τεκμηριωμένη εμπειρία και ερευνητικά επιτεύγματα σε εξειδικευμένους τομείς σχετικούς με τη Διαχείριση Ακίνητης Περιουσίας, την Πολεοδομία, τον Πολεοδομικό Σχεδιασμό, τη Διαχείριση Κατασκευών.
• Ισχυρές επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες και ικανότητα καθοδήγησης φοιτητών.
• Ενεργή συμμετοχή στην έρευνα, επιστημονικές δραστηριότητες και δέσμευση για συνεισφορά στην ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα.
• Ευρωπαϊκή ιθαγένεια.

Αρμοδιότητες:

• Ανάπτυξη και παροχή προπτυχιακών και μεταπτυχιακών μαθημάτων.
• Σχεδιασμός και επικαιροποίηση ύλης μαθημάτων και μαθησιακού υλικού.
• Επιστημονική έρευνα και διάδοση ευρημάτων.
• Επίβλεψη και καθοδήγηση φοιτητών.
• Συμμετοχή σε συνεδριάσεις του τμήματος.
