Position Details:
- Job Title: Part-time lecturer in Graphic Design, Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- Contract Type: Part-time
- Location: American University of Cyprus, Larnaca, Cyprus
Qualifications and Requirements:
- D. or MA in a relevant field within Graphic Design
- Demonstrated expertise and research accomplishments in a specialized area within the field
- Proven record of teaching excellence and the ability to deliver engaging and innovative courses at the undergraduate level
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide students
- Active engagement in research, scholarly activities, and a commitment to contributing to the academic community
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- Develop and update course syllabi, learning materials, and assessments
- Engage in scholarly research and disseminate research through practice
- Supervise student practical work, publishing, and development
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement
- Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students
