Professor Michaloudis, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at the American University of Cyprus, has been nominated for the Cyprus Research Award – Distinguished Researcher. The nominees were selected by Mr. Elias Hatzilias of the Cyprus University of Technology.  The Cyprus Research Award – Distinguished Researcher, announced by the Research and Innovation Foundation (IDEK) on March 18, 2022, is awarded annually to outstanding scientists with more than seven years of research experience. Candidates must be active in research in Cyprus on a permanent basis during the last three years and have significant and internationally recognized achievements in the field of research. The Award aims to highlight the work and personality of these distinguished scientists, who with their high quality and impact research activity honor Cyprus. For 2022, the Award will be presented to a researcher in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. The evaluation of the candidatures will be done by a Special Evaluation Committee, which will judge the quality of the research, the overall career and the leadership skills of the candidates.
